Évangile de Jésus Christ selon saint Marc

(Mc 4, 26-34)

Parlant à la foule en parabole, Jésus disait :
« Il en est du règne de Dieu comme d'un homme qui jette le grain dans son champ : nuit et jour, qu'il dorme ou qu'il se lève, la semence germe et grandit, il ne sait comment. D'elle-même, la terre produit d'abord l'herbe, puis l'épi, enfin du blé plein l'épi. Et dès que le grain le permet, on y met la faucille, car c'est le temps de la moisson. »

Jésus disait encore :
« À quoi pouvons-nous comparer le règne de Dieu ? Par quelle parabole allons-nous le représenter ? Il est comme une graine de moutarde ; quand on la sème en terre, elle est la plus petite de toutes les semences du monde. Mais quand on l'a semée, elle grandit et dépasse toutes les plantes potagères ; et elle étend de longues branches,
si bien que les oiseaux du ciel peuvent faire leur nid à son ombre. »

Par de nombreuses paraboles semblables, Jésus leur annonçait la Parole, dans la mesure où ils étaient capables de la comprendre. Il ne leur disait rien sans employer de paraboles, mais en particulier, il expliquait tout à ses disciples.

Le message

Quelle est la définition du royaume de Dieu ? Comment pouvons-nous l’expliquer aux enfants dans un langage simple ? Et nous avons pas mal de questions et personne n’est là pour en expliquer sauf le Seigneur.

Même si le Royaume de Dieu est un mystère je tente de le comprendre avec une comparions avec le royaume de ce monde. Dieu prendra sa place et tout le monde vivra dans l’amour et dan la paix. Il y aura un équitable partage des ressources disponible dans tous les niveaux possibles et le pardon en abondance. Dieu demeura dans le cœur de la création et la création le reconnaitra par tout.

Si le Seigneur nous a dit que le Royaume de Dieu est parmi nous, c’est parce qu’Il voit en lui la présence de Dieu. Il voit que l’homme est capable de vivre sa vie pleinement et dans la paix. Grâce à la Croix, le pardon est accessible à tous.

OUI mes amis, Si n’aurions laissé Dieu agir en nous…………………………………………… !

Gospel text (Mc 4,26-34):

Jesus said, «In the kingdom of God it is like this. A man scatters seed upon the soil. Whether he is asleep or awake, be it day or night, the seed sprouts and grows, he knows not how. The soil produces of itself; first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear. And when it is ripe for harvesting they take the sickle for the cutting: the time for harvest has come».

Jesus also said, «What is the kingdom of God like? To what shall we compare it? It is like a mustard seed which, when sown, is the smallest of all the seeds scattered upon the soil. But once sown, it grows up and becomes the largest of the plants in the garden and even grows branches so big that the birds of the air can take shelter in its shade». Jesus used many such stories or parables, to proclaim the word to them in a way they would be able to understand. He would not teach them without parables; but privately to his disciples he explained everything.

The Kingdom of God

Humanly speaking it is very difficult to understand the Kingdom of God. Before understanding the Kingdom of God, we have to understand God, the creator of this universe. In Jesus Christ we try to understand God, who gives His life in HIM and through HIM, for the salvation of the world. Even though the revelation is full in Jesus Christ, we haven’t fully understood God and how to understand His Kingdom?

Using human figurative images, we can understand the Kingdom of God as a place where everyone gives oneself for the well-being of the other, just like a part of our body engages to sustain the full body, the life in the body. After reading this gospel, we can understand this kingdom of God as, where God takes the first place and everyone recognizes the presence of God in them, even though it is not always visible. Like a seed which is in potency of sheltering millions of birds of the sky, the Kingdom of God welcomes every one without any distinction of color or race or religion, but surely one day it will be visible, if we allow God to work in and through us.

It is in this visibility God wants us to work. Let us give a visibility of this Kingdom of God in our lives. Let others see and learn from us the unconditional love and forgiveness of God. Let us make our heart available to God, so that the seed of His Kingdom may grow in us, and by the grace of God, it will one day give fruit.
